One of the ways Alexander (author of ‘A Pattern Language’) recommends you build is to gradually stiffen the shell of your home weaving a structure which starts flimsy then is gradually made stiff. It’s pattern No.208 and it’s how Benji built his tiny home from branches and pullovers.

Benji built his home using two layers of old pullovers soaked in a milky solution of lime over woven branches.
