In 2011 this tower suffered from damp in its stone arched roof. It was fixed with a cap of clay and a living roof which included plantain (good for healing people too) which completely cured the leaking roof. Three years later the roof is still watertight.

4 tonnes of clay and a bed of living plants completely cured its leaking roof and reduced the rainwater running onto the walls.
